Create a product explainer video for the launch of the Urbipod Smart Garden Kickstarter campaign.

Along with accompanying social media videos and updates to further the fundraising push. While maintaining the best value for money approach.

The Process

Working closely with Urbotanica’s operations manager, Myles Barnard, to create an authentic, but informative script for someone not used to presenting to camera.

We organised the shoot to allow for the creation of the main Kickstarter video, but also include plenty of additional material that would be repurposed for social media marketing down the line. Thereby getting the best value for money out of the production time for the small business.

The scripted narration also allowed for a quick turnaround to meet the Kickstarter campaign requirement, as the campaign cannot be submitted for approval until it includes a video.

 

The Results

A successful marketing and Kickstarter campaign that raised over $100,000 for production of the new Urbipods.
