UWA - Be Inspired Campaign

The Challenge

Create a campaign showing off the best researchers the University of Western Australia has to offer to entice new international researcher to come and work at UWA.

And interview all 25 of the researchers and have their stories turned around in only a couple of weeks.

The Process

Over a period of three weeks a team of a photographer, videographer and producer conducted an interview with each researcher and captured the visuals of their research process. This was turned into a webpage featuring a blog post and a 2-4min video portrait.

Due to the tight turnaround an additional editor was engaged for the project so that the videos could be started as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.

 

The Results

Over 25 videos were delivered in under six weeks before the Easter uni break.

The web/photo/video campaign was a huge success in luring new research to WA and partially responsible for UWA retaining its top 100 ranking in 2017.
